Sex Toy Review: Lovense Flexer (dual stimulation panty vibrator)

Hi! This is Yersi and I’m here to review Lovense’s newest release, the Flexer!

This toy is being released in November 15th 2022, which means it is already available for purchase on their website.

I got sent this toy earlier so that I could have this review ready to go once it got released to the public. I’ll disclose that Lovense also sent me this toy free of charge, so I did not purchase it. However, I am not being paid to do this review, so this will contain my honest opinion about the toy. I nonetheless thank Lovense for the opportunity to test the toy before it got released. It was very funny to have the toy listed as “Unknown” in the app! X3

So if you don’t know Lovense, they are a high-end sex toy manufacturer that produces really cool toys, all of which have one thing in common: they can be long distance controlled, either by yourself or someone close by with a Bluetooth connection to your toy, or through the internet where you can connect your toy to someone literally anywhere in the world.

I know nowadays remote-controlled sex toys aren’t exactly new, but Lovense was the first company that made this possible with their iconic toy Lush, and honestly, they are still the ones who do it best. I’ve tested many of their toys and I’ve never had connectivity issues, which is something I can’t really say about other brands.

Now that you’ve been briefly introduced to Lovense, let’s talk about their newest release, the Flexer.

So, first of all, let’s see what this toy aims to be. It is labeled as a Bluetooth insertable dual panty vibrator. It has one part that is supposed to go inside your fun downstairs friend, and another that is supposed to stay outside, above your clit. Both parts vibrate and the part that goes inside you also moves in a way they describe it as a “come hither” motion. The branding as well as the advertisement heavily focus on this movement being similar to the act of fingering and… I’ll give my opinion on that in a bit. Let’s continue with the specs.

With all this in mind, you can see this is a toy that not only allows you to use it inside the privacy of your home, as well as in public. And by public I don’t mean spreading your legs and using it in the middle of a supermarket for shocked bystanders to see, but you can just simply put this in place, go outside and have someone control it while you try hard to remain straight faced. There are countless YouTube videos of couples doing this with other toys that allow this type of action and it seems to be a very popular feature of these types of toys, so if you’re into it, it could certainly be a fun spin on a date with your partner.

The toy labels itself as quiet, which it must be since you should be able to use this in public without sus vibing noises coming from your crotch. We will discuss how silent it is a minute. It is also body safe, IPX7 waterproof (which means it can be submerged in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes), and it has a 1-year warranty. All these characteristics are usually offered by other Lovense toys as well.

The battery is said to last up to 120 minutes of continuous use. You get a USB cable that has a magnetic connection to the toy, as well as a little black bag to fit your Flexer.

Contents of the box

The toy has three continuous vibration modes and other 10 patterns. In the app, you can also create your own patterns.

The toy is currently selling for $99 USD on the website (but this is a promotional price). I know it’s a bit expensive for a toy, but honestly, I think the prices Lovense offers are always worth it, given that the toys are always high quality and offer cutting edge technology in the market.

And all of this is what the Flexer has to offer according to Lovense. Now, onto what I thought of it!

My Opinion

First of all, for a panty vibrator, at least in an ergonomic sense, this toy works well. You can just slide it in and there will be no weird bulge in your crotch area suggesting that you’re wearing a sex toy, even if you’re wearing something tight like yoga pants. The toy stayed in firmly for the time I wore it, and it was rather comfortable, granted that you get some warm up to be able to slide it in painlessly.

I thought that the part of this toy that goes inside you is similar to the G spot stimulator that you find on the Nora (Lovense's rabbit vibrator). However, their movement is quite different, with the Nora moving more in circles and being a bit bulkier. I think one of the biggest complaints I hear on the Nora is that the part that goes inside you is too big, so if you agree with that, maybe the Flexer could be a more interesting option, since it’s a bit smaller.

Comparison between Nora and Flexer (not up to scale)

As for the “fingering” motion… Honestly, as a lover of the art of fingering and someone who would never date a person with super long nails, the toy did not feel like fingering from human hands to me. And I know this is not exactly expected from any toy, I mean, a dildo doesn’t feel like a real penis, and yet they are still great sex toys that can feel really good. I’m just saying this because this is a review and I’m reporting what I felt. I will say, the motion was very different from other similar sex toys that I’ve tried and that made this toy very unique to me. It most certainly did not feel like generic G spot stimulation.

Something else that is awesome is the hands-free aspect. Since this toy is qualified for outside use, you don’t have to hold it in place when you’re using it. So, you can use your hands to stimulate other “interesting” parts of your body while the happy places downstairs are being taken care of.

Another thing I’d like to comment on is the quietness of the Flexer. So, this toy needs to be quiet because you should be able to use it outside. I will say, it’s not perfectly silent, but that’s expected because it’s a vibrator, and a powerful one at that. I did a decibel test and it scored 71 dB on its highest vibration mode.

So, as I said, it’s as silent as it can be. I suppose it would be OK to wear this to a place where there’s at least some background noise, like a busy restaurant, or a concert, but if you risk trying this somewhere that’s deadly silent, you might get caught by the buzzing sounds coming from your crotch. So, keep this in mind before wearing it outside.

Speaking of buzzing, let’s talk vibrations. I am a big fan of intense vibrations, and this toy definitely offers those, both on the clit and the G spot parts. I think the strongest intensities might be a little too much for some, but I believe the range this toy offers will accommodate most tastes. All in all, I thought it felt very good and it definitely took me on a one-way trip to orgasm land.

Now speaking about battery life, as expected, this toy has a viking warrior of a battery. Honestly, Lovense toys always come with batteries that last a long time. I’ve used this for a solid hour and a half (on varying intensities but mostly on the strongest ones) and it has barely made a dent on the battery.

If you’re a cam model, I think this toy might be a good pick for you. I know many Lovense toys are very popular amongst cam models for their long-distance control capabilities, making you able to connect your toy to your viewers, and the fact that Lovense has many resources for cam models (if you’re interested in those, I’ll link it down below). So, based on that, I think this could be a fun toy to use on a stream, for the characteristics I mentioned. You get stimulated both on your clit and G spot, all hands-free, which allows you to do anything with your hands, from playing Skyrim to showing off your attributes to those watching.

In comparison to other similar Lovense toys, I think the biggest selling point the Flexer offers is dual clit and G spot stimulation at the same time, while being handsfree and concealable in your underwear. The Ferri is also a panty vibrator, but it only stimulates your clit, while the Lush only stimulates your G spot. Dolce has dual stimulation, but it’s not concealable. So, the dual stimulation plus the possibility of wearing this hands-free and on the outside world makes this toy rather unique and fun.

Now, for the question that people always, ALWAYS ask: can I put this up my butt?

This is not the purpose of the toy nor is it recommended by its manufacturer. So, the answer is technically no. If you really insist on it, I can see how this could turn into a makeshift prostate massager, because it vibrates and moves, and the clit part can act as a stopper so the toy doesn’t go up your ass and gets lost in the depths of your butthole. It will also vibrate on your perineum, which might feel good. I do think the neck part of the toy might be a bit too thick and a bit uncomfortable for your booty gates if you want to wear this there.

I’ve read many complaints that prostate massagers are usually black and more masculine looking, kinda like the Edge, the prostate massager that Lovense offers. So I understand how some would want a toy for that purpose but more feminine looking. It’s not the purpose of this toy though, and I personally wouldn’t risk it. The clit part might act as a stopper but it’s not big, so it might not be enough. And it’s never a fun day when you have to go to the ER because something is stuck up your booty, so yeah.

Conclusion

All in all, I think this toy is pretty unique and it does its job well. It’s a great pick for cam models, for people who like playing discreetly outside, and for everyone that enjoys a hands-free experience. While it didn’t feel exactly like fingering to me (which I believe is an unfair expectation), the motion was very unique and pleasurable.

We will be publishing a video review soon (mostly the same what's written here though). Stay tuned ^^
